It doesn't look like the monsters can see very well in the dark. It's still unsettling to see them flying overhead, but at least we can rest easy for now.

Has anyone come up with a way to restore the city's barriers and keep the monsters out?

Never thought I'd say "wish we had a barrier blastia."

But- well, I wish we had a barrier blastia.

Think Rita can think of something?

I believe she can, but we'd have to worry about where to find a core. Rita will be able to build a blastia for it but... to run it will be another matter.

We know there's at least enough of a flow of aer in this place to power our blastia.

Then it might be possible that cores exist in this world as well?

We can't rule it out. It'd be best to ask the genius mage before we get any bright ideas.

You know, you could knock once in a while instead of just barging in.

They're still going out there, though. Doesn't even seem like we're making much of a dent.

We have to find out the source of all these harpies, or erect a new barrier to keep them out again.

[ Flynn says quietly. ]

It's not gonna be easy, that's for sure.

Yes. I spoke with someone on the network the other day. He says the barrier disappearing was his doing... but he wasn't able to answer what the barrier was before.

We might have to resort to a completely new kind of barrier...

[ He's thinking out loud... ]

But what?

We already have an idea for at least one kind of barrier, but I'm more concerned about whether or not the rest of the City will be alright with it.

Does it really matter? We're gonna tire out at some point.

We have to at least let people know if we're going to implement something from our world.

Even if it's for the best.
