I didn't realize the police administered such punishments.

This is a punishment that we've decided to set in light of the severity of Yuri's crimes. The police force had no hand in this.

And it's alright for people to take into their own hands what they deem and consider to be justice? People died during the button pressing curse, too.

No, it's not. Taking up the burden of executing justice into your own hands and relying on vigilantism instead of the laws put in existence will only inspire chaos as different people have different perceptions of the law. But that doesn't mean that the crime of killing and hurting people should go unpunished. Not like this.

I agree with that much. The murder of another person is not something to be taken lightly.

The fact that people don't die here is a relief, but that doesn't mean that the crime of hurting them should go unpunished, or be ignored as if it were nothing more than an everyday consequence to living in a place like this. I can't speak for the whole place, and I certainly can't speak for the many crimes that surely occur without any of us knowing... but I will act on those that I see with my own eyes, in the name of the Imperial Knights and the Empire that I serve under, if nothing else.

I still see other ways than this. From what I have heard, he wasn't himself when this happened. That is something that happens all too frequently within the city.

Instead of allowing more suffering to continue, you should just stop. At the very least, this sort of thing can be handled by a trail and jury.

This was our choice.
