[ The accidental video has Flynn standing before a bloodied dead body. It isn't too violent, but there's definitely blood. ~~He didn't do it, and was actually out helping people escape from cannibals all day.~~ He's breathing shallowly-- ]

I won't do it. I won't soil the name of the Imperial Knights by... succumbing to something like this.

[ But he's still standing there, gripping the edge of his sword, and all but ready to just... dig... in........

Feel free to taunt him and/or help him keep from doing bad things... ]

[Well, with Estelle going around the city, acting like a witch and handing out candy, she was in quite the good mood. Between dressing up and being generous, well, it would take a lot to get her out of it. Though when she checked her device and saw that scene, she wasn’t entirely sure what to make of it. She had heard and read that Halloween involved some gruesome and bloody details, but considering it was Flynn…she was a little worried…and with what he had said.]

Flynn…is something the matter?

[Just asking to make sure and not jump to pre-mature conclusions. However, the look of complete worry and a little bit of shock was apparent on her face.]

Lady Estellise...

[ /guilty voice.

But he isn't quite sure how to explain his sudden need to eat human flesh... ]

[And given she not no "just kidding!" kind of reaction, her hunches were right.]

Please tell me what's wrong. Is this a curse?

[ A deep breath. ]

It's nothing, Lady Estellise. I- you're right. This is simply a curse.

Then...

[There's a sigh.]

Do your best to fight it...even though...

[...even though she somewhat understands that it can be difficult. Though she hadn't been cursed to that extent.]

Just...please be careful.

[She doesn't want to see him hurt.]

I will, Lady Estellise.

[ But he worries more about you. ]

Please stay safe, as well. This curse will be in effect until the end of the day. Until then... please do not keep your guard down.

[ Even from him. ]

Yes, I promise to stay safe.

[She looks down, saddened by this. She was having so much fun today, hardly on her guard at all as she was skipping around town being a witch. The last thing she wants to do is stay careful of Flynn.]

[ You mean, the last thing you want is to be omnomnomed by Flynn and possibly cooked with awful, awful ingredients in a pot. ]

[And she trusts that he will return after midnight, hopefully not cursed. Or else she may be a yummy dish. Well, if she had to be one she'd hope she'd be a yummy dish, then again with Flynn she might not be.]

Near the [ insert landmark here that isn't the carousel, fountain etc. ].

[ And he tells Yuri his location because he doesn't feel like he could back up the claim that he isn't going to do anything stupid. ]

[ Because it's so hard keeping himself from taking that step forward--

It occurs to him then than perhaps Yuri shouldn't be there too, but he knows he can't convince Yuri not to come (not when he's managed to sound so helpless), and then there's the fact that Yuri should be fine against him. ]

[Yuri is there as soon as he possibly can from wherever he was before. He's panting but he can't let that stop him when he sees Flynn and... and the dead body.]

Start explaining-- [breathe] now.

[ Still planted in the same position. He can't even tear his eyes away from the bloody sight. He's probably shaking a bit, and Yuri can probably hear the way his armor makes small chinking sounds as he does so. ]

You need to knock me out, Yuri. Please.

[ And he totally ignored your request. ]

Are you in a position to fight back?

[Yuri's already got his sword unsheathed, eyes level with Flynn's. It's plainer than day that this is a curse- and he intends to stop it. He won't allow Flynn to bear any more burdens like this.]

It's not a matter of fighting back! I don't want to fight you.

[ But he doesn't look at Yuri. ]

But the curse is going to make you, isn't it.

[He slowly settles into a fighting stance, shifting from foot to foot.]

[ Flynn doesn't know, what he does know... he tells Yuri. ]

I want to eat it, Yuri.

[ It's said in a quiet, but definitely angry voice laced with guilt. It's not something he wants anyone else to hear. ]

I knew your sense of taste was off, but not that off.

[He sighs, frown twisting.]

Rita-- she taught me something. I haven't really mastered it yet, but it's worth a shot, isn't it?

It's better than nothing.

[ He says dryly, but there's a trace of sarcasm/amusement there. He appreciates your untimely sense of humor. :| ]

If it doesn't work- [ He pauses. ]

Make sure it works. I don't know how long I can hold out. I may even turn on you.

I think I can handle you.

[He sighs. He- he can't afford to hesitate, but he can't help but bite his lip in uncertainty as he pulls out a rune and attaches it to his skin. It's not the same rune as Tyr's, he tries to remind himself. It's completely different. It won't-- it's completely different. It doesn't even have the same capabilities.]

Just- just try and hold still for as long as you can.

Most of the time.

[ He manages to tear his eyes away from the "delectable meal" in front of him long enough to smile back at Yuri. And then he clamps his eyes shut and grips the sword hilt tighter as he focuses on anything but the corpse. ]

[He closes his eyes and focuses, tries to imagine Flynn sleeping, the quite rise and fall of his shoulders, the lightest of snoring when he's deepest in sleep. He chants the words that he'd had memorized after some daily repetition. So far his practicing led only to frustration, but he hopes-- hopes that it'll do its job and put Flynn to sleep.]

[ Hearing Yuri chant reminds Flynn of, oddly enough, Yuri reading the Imperial Knights' code. It's both amusing and frustrating, because a part of him wants to ask Yuri what exactly he's doing... because it isn't working (not yet, anyway)... and because the longer he stands next to him, the more Flynn realizes Yuri smells nice.

Flynn thinks eating Yuri is just a tad bit more horrifying than eating a random corpse he found in the alley. ]

[He finishes the chant, looking up to see if anything's happened. Seeing that Flynn hasn't passed out from sleep, he suspects that at most it's just drowsiness. He curses and flourishes his sword once more.]

Looks like I need a bit more practice. We'll just have to settle this the old-fashioned way.

It looks like it.

[ Flynn says slowly-- looking at Yuri, something in his mind tells him fresh meat is infinitely better than something that's been lying on the floor for who-knows-how-long. ]

Yuri, just make sure you don't lose. Lady Estellise... if I end up beating you and-

Her Highness shouldn't have to deal with that outcome.

Don't worry. I'll take care of this.

[He doesn't want this hovering over Flynn- the guy had way too much to deal with already without Yuri screwing this up for him. And Estelle- she doesn't deserve that. He's seen what's been happening, and there's a lot of things he and Flynn do together -- eating each other is not one of them.]

[ Flynn wanted to say something about that, something about putting his faith on the guy who couldn't "take care" of the mess in his room most of the time, but something snapped inside him. His mouth fell dry suddenly, and coherent thought was crowded out by the thought of Yuri's "meat".

With the sword hilt in his hand already, lifting it up for a sudden slash attack at Yuri came too easily. ]

[Yuri knows Flynn's moves almost better than Flynn himself-- he quickly blocks before stepping back to thrust forward, not intending to become a part of Flynn's dinner today. Thankfully, he knows Flynn's limits as well. But what he doesn't know is how the hell he's going to knock Flynn out.]

[ Flynn dodges that thrust, and then tries to get as close as possible to Yuri. If he has to rely on melee attacks instead of his sword to get closer, Flynn really doesn't care.

He tries to grab Yuri by his hair somehow. ]

[Flynn never plays dirty-- so when the other tugs his hair, Yuri is completely unsuspecting and is yanked from his initial attack stance toward the side, utterly off balance and unfocused. Flynn wasn't trying to just gently play with his hair, either. That shit hurt.

He curses when the loss of balance causes him to stumble backward. He tries to maintain it, but he's already lost too much time. Does he have time to block--?]

[ If Flynn were in his right mind, he'd have said, "That's why you should cut your hair shorter, Yuri!"

He wasn't though, and so Flynn takes advantage of this by dropping his sword and reaching out to grab more of Yuri. Yuri wants to knock him out? He'll knock Yuri out first. ]
