It's hard to believe it's only been a week after that day. Between the strange occurrences that plagued all of us through it all, it's easy to think that it might have been longer. It's hard to describe as well but everyone should know all that has happened.

I assume this to be the matter. I'll check on him tonight for any serious injuries that have yet to heal. Before that though, I'm sure we can discuss the severity of his punishment. It should be based on the people that we know he's either killed or injured.

Ten lashings per victim seems appropriate, whether they were killed or not, since the intent was the same. Do you know how many he attacked?

There's Emil and Ruca to consider, isn't there? There's the person he killed in front of me, Lady Natalia, and you to consider. I'm not sure what else it was that he did, but Yuri won't hide from me what he can remember then.

I can clarify it with him tonight.

So if he can't recall any others, it will be fifty lashings. Should there be others, we'll simply add to the count. So long as we don't exceed one hundred lashings in one punishment, we will still be within military law.

Then that's fifty lashings to for now. I'll take responsibility for delivering the lashes, unless you want to offer yourself for the task.

It wouldn't do good to taint the house with something like this, either. The Xanadu should be where it's done, or at the very least, somewhere else where we can have a semblance of privacy. This punishment is clearly for the crimes Yuri had committed while under the core's effects, but humiliating him is hardly going to be our objective.
