It looks like today is much the same as yesterday. If there is anyone present amongst you who count themselves a member of the Knights and hail from Terca Lumereis as well, then I would like to make a request: If it is at all possible, I wish to convey a message to my subordinates back home.

Sodia, Witcher; if the two of you are present, then I may as well deliver this message personally.

[ ooc; And before 4th wall ends, here is ~~Guy~~ Flynn Scifo. This guy (lolpun*shot*) will be okay with everything but, uh, spoilers beyond Zaude and gd. the fact that Sodia stabbed Yuri. Do not tell him, omg. ;_;... um. I think that about covers it. ]

I think we should just give them some time. I, for one, am somewhat concerned about the effects of such a relationship, but if it's what Yuri wants then as a friend I'll support him and Lady Estellise.

[ He says this very seriously, as if-- well, as if it's just a fact. ]

He needs to get over the notion that I'm a better candidate for Lady Estellise, first. [ He adds then, because Flynn can't possibly forget Yuri's self-demeaning babble about how the Commandant is more worthy of Her Highness... ]

But she was totally head over heels for him, and it turns out Yuri knew. I mean, I still don't know how he felt, because he's an idiot, but he knew. Hm. [ Yes, she's actually giving this some thought. But they were so cute together--well, okay, Estelle was cute and Yuri was more a jerk, but he'd been getting better! Maybe there were some sort of implications in their world or something?

But that just made things more ~romantic~ in her opinion. ]

Wait, why? [ ...Oh right, Yuri is a douche. ] Because you're a lot nicer?

[ Hearing this is a bit strange for Flynn, because of certain circumstances way back then, but-- he supposes it's nothing. ]

Yuri is a lot more perceptive than people think, and I'm not surprised at all to hear that from you. And it has nothing to do with being my being nicer, in this case, though that might be easier to understand.

[ He pauses as he thinks of a way to put it into the right words-- ]

I think Yuri might be insecure of the fact that he holds no proper title, or position in the Empire to possibly stand as an equal with Lady Estellise. It may seem silly, because Yuri himself doesn't give much importance to position of nobility... but in this case, it might just be so.

You're right, that is silly.

[ It may seem a little mean, but to Ino, a duck is a duck is a duck. She waves a dismissive hand, as if sweeping away the topic. ]

I think he's just deflecting or something. Seriously, I really hate his poker face sometimes.

[ The flippant attitude doesn't really affect Flynn, being used to much the same from Yuri. ]

You know, all we've talked about is Yuri. He's like, going to sense that he's being talked about and get all smug about it.

[ Here, he shakes his head. ]

Or he could be embarrassed and berate me for speaking about him so much.

Yuri, embarrassed?

[ Said with dramatic faux surprise. ]

[ And... Flynn thinks that's really a surprised expression.]

He gets embarrassed about the little things too.

[ ...Are you serious, Flynn. ]

Somehow, I doubt that.

[ Of course, he is! ]

He doesn't like it when the subject of our childhood is brought up, for example. But we had some good memories together, so it's puzzling.

[ Blackmail material alert! Ino immediately perks up. ]

What kind of stuff?

[ Oh, Flynn has a wealth of dirt on Yuri-- but here, he pauses to think, because to him, it's alllll normal childhood. ]

The time I saved him from drowning when he fell into the river, for example.

[ Snicker snicker snicker. See, Yuri never tells her this stuff! ]

He fell into the river?

He was trying to save a puppy that had somehow gotten itself stuck on a small ledge, just above the river. But I ended up saving them both instead.

[ Ah, he smiles a bit; good memories. ]

Yuri was miserable afterwards, but he eventually cheered up.

[ read; "cheered up" ]

A puppy, hm? He's such a Good Samaritan.

[ She smiles too. None of this is very surprising to her, since she could tell that Yuri had a good heart, but still. It's... cute. And nice. ]

Cheered up, huh?

He was lively, anyway. He was teased afterwards for it.

[ Yeah. Teased. Don't you want to know? :D ]

[ YES PLEASE. ]

Why?

It was something about being a princess in my arms. I never really understood, but I suppose it was entertaining for the other children.

I think it kept Yuri from being sad about the incident altogether, in any case.

[ :'D ]

[ She's laughing. really. hard. ]

He was your damsel in distress, huh?

It wasn't his fault. Accidents happen.

[ And... zooom, he sees nothing wrong with thaaat ;'D ]

I can see why the other children were entertained.

[ She takes a moment to reign in her laughter, though that image is going to stay in her mind for a long, long time. Yuri won't hear the end of this. ]

You guys are pretty close, hm?

[ Might... be thinking of ~BOY LOVE~ ]

Yuri and grew up together, so I suppose the answer to that would be yes.

I watch his back, and he watches mine. It may not seem so now, with him choosing to follow his own path by establishing Brave Vesperia-- [ and he pauses here, because he knows that lately, their paths... he doesn't know where it will lead them, but he reminds himself that they both are striving for the same goal. Always have and always will. Their paths will always meet. ]

--but Yuri and I will remain to be friends.

[ And it might exist! But it might also be glaringly ~natural~ ]
