It looks like today is much the same as yesterday. If there is anyone present amongst you who count themselves a member of the Knights and hail from Terca Lumereis as well, then I would like to make a request: If it is at all possible, I wish to convey a message to my subordinates back home.

Sodia, Witcher; if the two of you are present, then I may as well deliver this message personally.

You know, all we've talked about is Yuri. He's like, going to sense that he's being talked about and get all smug about it.

[ Here, he shakes his head. ]

[ Said with dramatic faux surprise. ]

[ And... Flynn thinks that's really a surprised expression.]

He gets embarrassed about the little things too.

Somehow, I doubt that.

[ Of course, he is! ]

He doesn't like it when the subject of our childhood is brought up, for example. But we had some good memories together, so it's puzzling.

[ Blackmail material alert! Ino immediately perks up. ]

What kind of stuff?

[ Oh, Flynn has a wealth of dirt on Yuri-- but here, he pauses to think, because to him, it's alllll normal childhood. ]

The time I saved him from drowning when he fell into the river, for example.

[ Snicker snicker snicker. See, Yuri never tells her this stuff! ]

He fell into the river?

He was trying to save a puppy that had somehow gotten itself stuck on a small ledge, just above the river. But I ended up saving them both instead.

[ Ah, he smiles a bit; good memories. ]

Yuri was miserable afterwards, but he eventually cheered up.

[ read; "cheered up" ]

A puppy, hm? He's such a Good Samaritan.

[ She smiles too. None of this is very surprising to her, since she could tell that Yuri had a good heart, but still. It's... cute. And nice. ]

Cheered up, huh?

He was lively, anyway. He was teased afterwards for it.

[ Yeah. Teased. Don't you want to know? :D ]

[ YES PLEASE. ]

Why?

It was something about being a princess in my arms. I never really understood, but I suppose it was entertaining for the other children.

I think it kept Yuri from being sad about the incident altogether, in any case.

[ :'D ]

[ She's laughing. really. hard. ]

I can see why the other children were entertained.

[ She takes a moment to reign in her laughter, though that image is going to stay in her mind for a long, long time. Yuri won't hear the end of this. ]

Yuri and grew up together, so I suppose the answer to that would be yes.

I watch his back, and he watches mine. It may not seem so now, with him choosing to follow his own path by establishing Brave Vesperia-- [ and he pauses here, because he knows that lately, their paths... he doesn't know where it will lead them, but he reminds himself that they both are striving for the same goal. Always have and always will. Their paths will always meet. ]

[ And it might exist! But it might also be glaringly ~natural~ ]

[ They almost remind her of herself and Sakura--rivals, but friends. Close friends. But Flynn just looks so worried that Ino can't help but reach out and pat his knee. ]

I know you will. Yuri's way loyal to his friends--like a dog. And you're way too nice.

[ So, that mention about Yuri being a dog somewhat distracts Flynn from the fact that Ino just put her hand on his knee. ]

Like a dog... Yuri? [ He stares at Ino for a moment, and then seems to imagine that. He's simple-minded sometimes, really. ]

That's an interesting mental image. But I think he's more like a cat.

[ Now, if Ino were more knowledgeable in fangirl lingo, this would be would hold a very obvious implication... ]

[ She's very touchy-feely. Get used to it, Flynn, because Yuri is already well acquainted with her raping hands. ]

A cat? Well, he does seem to have a weird thing with cat ears...
